銀河管樂團成立於2009年，為香港註冊非牟利音樂團體。成員均具豐富的演奏及教學經驗，亦曾參與多次之海外演出。樂團現由香港著名音樂家白榮輝先生擔任駐團指揮。

樂團以銀河為名，取其在人材及選曲方面，均具涉獵甚廣之意。本樂團的宗旨，是透過資深樂手的技術和經驗，推廣多姿多采的管樂文化，藉著各類型的音樂表演，使聽眾對管樂文化能有更深的認識。除嚴肅的作品外，樂團亦致力演奏不同類型及風格的作品，如爵士樂、藍調、電影音樂及動漫主題音樂等，將管樂團的多樣性呈現於觀眾面前。

樂團成立至今已演出不絕，並獲各方好評。其中包括與香港德明愛樂管樂團合作，於其週年音樂會中演出，樂團亦曾應邀出2010年亞太管樂節2010嘉義市國際管樂節，分別於香港及台灣嘉義市演出

團員雖來自五湖四海，惟理念一致，希望與觀眾一同漫遊星際，感受銀河樂團帶來無限驚喜的管樂世界。

 

Founded in 2009, Galaxy Wind Ensemble was registered as a non-profit organization in HK. Based on all experienced players and music teachers, Galaxy is now under the direction of our Conductor-in-residence Vincent Pak Wing-fai.

To draw the broaden meaning from the word "Galaxy", we aim to promote different sorts of music in the Wind Band Culture. Apart from the classical compositions, we will also perform works like Jazz, Blues, themes from Movies and Animations in order to express the variety of Band music to the audience.

A short period from establishment though, engagements ceaselessly follow. The recent engagements include the guest performance in the annual Concert of HK Tak Ming Philharmonic Winds, the performances in 2010 APBDA in HK and 2010 Chiayi International Band Festival in Taiwan.

We wish our audience will enjoy their trip with the Galaxy Wind Ensemble, sharing and tasting the joy and happiness through our music.
